The Regional Budget in Märkisch-Oderland
In the Land of Brandenburg. the regional budget serves as a promotion instrument for the EU promotion period 2007 to 2013. Municipal employment policy in the rural districts and independent towns is supported by funds from the European Social Fund (ESF).
The EST funds are co-financed by the job centre and the Agentur für Arbeit, as well as by the project-sponsor's own funds or those of third parties.
Promotion has the following goals:
To make it easier for unemployed men and women to find employment
To improve the social integration of the unemployed
To stimulate co-operation between actors and to create networks at a local level
